VIAA Young Agents Committee is hosting their Annual Meeting - in person - on Thursday, November 18 at the Capital Plaza Conference Center in Montpelier. This full day event includes a 3-hour CE session taught by Pat Murray, Senior Rate and Form Analyst of DFR, a lunch buffet, and a special presentation on agency growth by our keynote speaker, Kelly Donahue-Piro.The afternoon with wrap up with the YAC annual meeting and overview of InsurPac.

This event is FREE for VIAA members & $25 for guests, affiliates and non-members.

Session Details:

CE w/ Pat Murray | Overview of the Department of Financial Regulation (3 credits)
To provide Property/Casualty Insurance Agents an understanding of the functions of the Department of Financial Regulation including the Insurance, Securities and Banking Divisions. The class will include an overview of the functions of the Vermont Department of Financial Regulation and explain which areas are of most importance to independent insurance agents including a discussion of crypto currencies.

Kelly Donahue-Piro | How to Market Your Insurance Agency Without Losing Money
If you are running an insurance agency, growth must be on your mind! However, you may be uncertain how to proceed or no one has given you a plan on how to set growth goals.  This session covers how to set growth goals for your retention team, team members who service and sell as well as team members in a new business only role.Kelly will also review how to pull the reports your insurance agency needs to calculate growth. This will help empower you to use your agency’s management system to an even greater capacity.
